Mediocre fast track sushi spot. Good for a quick lunch or an on-the-go meal. Prices are ok and service is ok. They could probably use one or more employees to speed things up. 🙂
Happy Hour a great deal. ..all selections under $2 with the purchase of any drink…and Happy Hour goes until 9:30 PM. Salmon cuts on the nigiri are generous. Fish good for the price.
Not too bad for what it is. Not great, but for happy hour prices ($1.50 for red plates/$1.85 for all the others if you buy any drink, I think), you can’t beat it if you have a quick sushi craving. There isn’t a whole lot of variety on the conveyor belt, and too many of the rolls have fake crab, but the fish I did have seemed pretty fresh.
Doesn’t Deserve Its Downtown Location. First off, this is a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, so it shouldn’t be compared with a made-to-order sushi joint. That being said, it’s probably the worst CB sushi restaurant I’ve ever been to. The atmosphere was run-down and not hip and polished like you’d expect from a downtown restaurant. The place wasn’t dirty per se, it just felt really dingy. The selection was terrible – every item had the same surimi-cream cheese spread in it. What actual fish there was looked limp and mushy, and all the rolls tasted extremely bland. The menu was useless, since it only listed the names of each dish, but no pictures to identify one roll from another. Is that one a dragon roll? What is that pink mystery meat in that roll?I was very disappointed and hope a restaurant with some style will be able to move into that space someday.
