VERY VERY GOOD FOOD!. I went in to pick up food and sat at the bar for a beer while I was waiting. Salad was very fresh, veggie burger(cooked well done) was amazing! It’s really cool that you can order any of their burgers and substitute a veggie patty! Fries were good as well, but they are fresh cut so don’t expect them to be crispy! It’s very dark inside and is very much a local pub type place, but nice and cozy

Check out the Virginia Cafe. When you are IN downtown Portland looking for a great happy hour, I would definitely recommend the Virginia Cafe. Try their chili, it’s one of the better I have found in town. I also recommend if you need a nice place to meet a friend, sit in a booth and chat.
I just love this cafe. Vibe, cute booths, awesome burgers, friendly staff & super location. A regular visit a must with some room in your tummy to savor the delicious burgers. I’m a fan of the chicken burger, oh yeah, yum yum yum!

Virginia Cafe Is A Great Restaurant in Downtown Portland. Virginia Cafe is one of my favorite restaurants in downtown Portland Oregon. Not only is the atmosphere very cozy, woody and a bit dark, but the food is very good at a great price. It is also a great place to get a drink, sit and talk with your friends, watch a Timber’s game or stop in before or after a show at the Arlene Shnitzer Concert Hall. Definately one of the best restaurants or bars in downtown Portland.
Not As Great As They Used To Be. I have to say the plac has decent food; really good cheese burgers. But the cafe is dark, noisy, and I didn’t find the service all that friendly. There are nicer people at Mickey D’s than at the Virginia. I think the place was so much better before they moved from their original location.
