Newly renovated Applebee’s right down the road from the Redmond Airport. Decor is clean. Menu is constantly updated. Good spirit selection. Hard to go wrong when considering it’s one of America’s largest chains.
Slowest service ever. Waited over 30 minutes for a glass of water that I ordered when the waiter first asked me what I would like to drink. Never were asked if we would like drink refills. Waiter placed the bill on our table without even asking us if we’d like dessert, we had to ask the manager (whom was also on slow speed) for a dessert. Only one that seemed to be running that evening (3/20/11) was the busboy, bless his soul, he was seating, filling water glasses, serving dishes from the kitchen on top of seating people. And during the two hours we were there (yes, two hours at applebees for a fam of four), two groups walked out because no one had came to take their orders. Unbelievable poor service for a chain restaurant. Fortunately, the meals were fine. But the Kraft Mac n cheese meal off the kids menu is not worth the $4, and it’s served without vegetables! How much of a profit hit would they take serving a few veggies with the 1/4 to 1/3 of a 75 cent box of macaroni and cheese. Hope you have a better experience…
