I used to love this place! But haven’t been in awhile so we decided to try it out again. well, first off they have two menus, one that doesn’t have prices and another with the wrong price. So we get there and our 2 burger 1 slider and fries (we ordered tots) and chicken basket (only 2 chicken strips) ended up being a $37 meal!!!!! they messed up our order which usually im like whatever, but usually when they mess up a meal you atleast get 2 bucks knocked off. My burger was definitely not an $8.75 burger. looks like we aren’t going back, which sucks because we like helping local businesses.

Diner from redmond.. Great burgers! Fries are not very good on a constant basis. Either never seasoned or way overdone. It’s a dice roll on what you get depending on day/cook. That’s always disappointing for a fry lover. And for not always being on point, they are pretty spendy. $15 dollars for a hamburger, small fry and small shake. That’s crazy. The burger is the only thing worth the $ at that price.
MsBluz. I moved to Redmond in 2006 and never ate at Jody’s Drive In until a couple of month’s ago. Now, I won’t eat a burger from anywhere else! And I have tried all of them!Why Jody’s? I had let the young girl know that I had never eaten there, and she very gladly told me, that Jody’s uses 100% fresh ground chuck, that is grown locally. Fresh being the key word, the meat is never frozen! The veggies are fresh, lettuce, sweet onions, tomatoes and mushrooms! The pickles are fresh, they have no preservatives….and I am not a pickle eater, but these, love them!The only problem is, now I have problem of choosing what burger to eat! But, got my favorite choices down to: the Smokehouse, Shroom and Swiss, Ortega, the Clogger, Bacon Cheese Burger, Cheese Burger with real Cheddar and Chicken Basket!Places like Jody’s Drive In are vastly becoming extinct, being replaced with tasteless, pre-made burgers of the fast food chain. So, when I want a good burger, I know where I am going! And love the fact I am supporting locally owned business!
Best Burger in Central Oregon. Love Love Love their food. I have had almost everything on the menu and it is all great. My son comes to visit 4 times a year and we go from the airport to Jody’s.
What happend?. Jody’s use to be so good… It has gone down hill drastically. Sometimes new owners just can’t get it right. it’s unfourtunate they use to be a favorite spot.
Jody’s has a new owner…who knows good burgers done right! 100% USDA chuck beef..cooked to order. Chilli cheeze fries to dy for!
