Oh, I so want to like Smith Rock Brewing. Came here for an early dinner. Had a draft beer, some smothered fries (pulled pork and 2 cheeses), and The Works burger. The nachos were good, but so so salty (the puffy inside of mouth afterward, crystallized eyes the next morning level of salt). The burger has a little bit of everything on it from bacon to mushrooms to avocado to red onions to pickles that it was really thick, which was fun the first few bites but an absolute mess the rest of it as ingredients were squirting out in every direction.If it wasn’t for the sodium-laden food, the experience could have been a lot better. I was looking forward to trying the poutine on a future trip and some more beers on tap, but the way the food was prepared won’t get me to come back anytime soon.
