Excellent! Everything we ordered was delicious! The food was voted the best meal of our trip by the entire family. This is our first time eating Thai that we weren’t asked how hot we wanted our food; instead they brought the spices with our food for us to use as we pleased. The staff were friendly, polite, and very attentive without being intrusive.
This is great Thai food! We are converted supporters of Thai-O being the best in central Oregon. Worth the money and the trip!
Really enjoyed the meal.. We are somewhat new to Thai food. Pad Thai is what I had. We were between Lunch and Dinner time and had the full attention of the staff as we were the only two people in the very clean and well appointed restaurant.If we are in the area again we will eat there again.
Maybe it was the New Guy’s First Day?. The guy in the back must be new. The pad thai was gloppy, very sweet, and way overcooked. Curry was very spicy yet totally bland. The atmosphere was sad, slow, and made us feel depressed. I get it: it’s hard work keeping a restaurant open seven days a week—it shows in the tired energy of the young people working there.The son should learn how to cook, can the outside kitchen staff, and for goodness sake, take a day off. This family should also go visit Lao Lanxang In Salem if they ever feel compelled to make improvements. But, they may not need to since all of CO likes it. I guess I am spoiled.There seems to be a hole in the local market for great, from-scratch Thai food here in CO. A savvy ent could really do well with a to-go Thai food place.I really wanted to like it. They seem like nice people.
Try this Thai!. I was so excited to see something other than classic american fare out here. Thai-O did not let me down. The young man who is always there is so kind and attentive. The prices are all reasonable. And, no lie, everything I have tried has been wonderful. Yum-O!
Great food, service and atmosphere. They surprised me with a wonderful mushroom soup as an appetizer that had the perfect balance of sour, savory and sweet as all great Thai food should. The Pad Thai was one of the best I’ve had outside of Bangkok . I love the fact that they are a father & son team bringing authentic flavors of Thailand to Redmond. Highly recommended!
Awesome Thai resturant in town. The food is great with a nice menu. Service is friendly. When I first noticed this place, I was excited to have a Thai place in town and not have to drive to Bend, and Thai O lives up to my excitement of great food at good prices. I’ve been very pleased with everything I have eaten there. Thai O is for sure a staple.
