Haters be hating. I am not entirely sure about some of the negative reviews of this place but I absolutely love it! I have been to this food cart several times and each time the service was prompt, the price was VERY reasonable, and the food was excellent!!! They have an awesome meat menu which includes lingua and cabasa (very authentic) and each time I have tried it I have been pleasantly surprised. I would recommend the super stacy burrito with carne asada or the cabasa!

Dissappointed. Me and my family have been going to the Los Gorditos cart on 50th and Division for years. Always the best place in town for carne asada. But yesterday it was very greasy, I mean VERY greasy, its not usually like this but if it continues like this we wont be going there anymore, and im sure im not the only one. I hope they go back to the way they were…..YUMMY
Yum.. Better prices and WAY better salsas than higher end taco joints (ChaChaCha and Por Que No, for instance). Ambiance leaves much to be desired-we usually get take-out. Soy products usually make me cringe, but theirs are actually quite tasty.
Los Gorditos Rocks! However……. I love Los Gorditos, their food is consistently awesome! I love their various types of hot sauces, however I don’t think their new hot sauce bar is very sanitary. There is no sneeze guard and they have wide mouth ladles and tiny, narrow to go containers. The problem with the big ladles and small containers is that when people pour (I have both done this myself and seen others do it) The sauce that misses the container dribbles down off of people’s fingers back into the remaining sauce. I’m guessing this happens over and over throughout the day. I don’t know about you, but I have witnessed many people who do not wash their hands very often. This is kind of gross to think about. Isn’t there anyway that Los Gorditos could at least invest in some ladles with spouts? So at least it would be easier and not so messy (and unsanitary) to pour the awesome tasting sauce! Please remedy this issue Los Gorditos!!!
Yuck. Ordered 2 Gorditos to go last night. Took forever to get our order, many people (at least 6 orders) came in after us and got their orders before us! Finally came out and said they were out of the soy curls or whatever they call them so I changed to one of the other meatless bases and it still took another 10 minutes! And they still got the orders wrong! Food was definitely not up to our expectations after reading reviews here. Oh, and we both are having repercussions today. Would never go back.
Vegan love. 12th & Division location- I’m so excited to have 22 vegan options at a taqueria!!! Vegan items can be made vegetarian with dairy cheese and sour cream instead of the vegan versions. I had a tofu taco, regular vegan taco, and a vegan tamale. All were tasty and the tamale was especially wonderful. Food was fresh, restaurant was clean and staff were friendly.
