Great place to plug in and overeat. Spent the morning here with my laptop open. when I arrived around 9:15 it was only me and two other diners, but around 10:30 the place was full and so was I. I had the duck egg sandwich which was ridiculously caloric. I must have drank 4 cups of coffee to stay alert and keep working. but the server was fantastic, there was a nearby plug, and free wifi.
Weird but good food. This is one of those foodie places that has 8 things on the menu. I like my eggs well cooked and had to amend a menu item to accommodate that. No omelet, no french toast, no biscuits and gravy, pancakes, scrambles, etc. They had two waffle options, a scone with canadian bacon option, sausage hash, benedict, and some lunch items. I got the scone sandwich thing. It was affordable and a smallish portion but it was delicious. My dining partner ordered the same and our food took nearly a half an hour before it came. Only two other tables in there.
Excellent brunch today! Everything was exceptionally good, but the savory scone was incredible.
I don’t normally order granola when I go out for brunch, but I decided to this morning and oh man, some of the best granola I have ever had! And even though I wish they had a few more dairy-free options, I like this place a lot and definitely will be back!
