That swill is Minestrone Soup?. I was raised Italian so I know that Minestrone Soup is a hearty mixture of noodles, beans, and vegetables. Not Giuseppe’s version. Eat the salad instead, it is too hard to mess that up.
Terrible service, good pizza, yuck food. 3 people, one small pizza, 2 dinners $89.00 later, walked out disgusted. Server, apparently the owner or relative or would have already been fired, was rude, dirty, irritated and irritating. No refills on drinks, food tossed on table, place is old, and on the down side of clean, not dirty just worn, dark and cramped. Did I mention the server? Really terrible!! To top it off, the same server is a repeat offender, it’s been over a year since we last went, and at that time said we’d likely never go back because the food was bad and service terrible. The only thing changed is that the food is more expensive. Pizza is good, very salty but most pizza is, chicken and veal could have come from a box if the box cost 18.00.and the food a buck fifty. The hostess was very pleasant but the rest, on a scale of yuck to very nice, zero stars to ten, it’s a yuck one star. Order ahead, get the pizza to go and hope you don’t have to wait for it. Otherwise, enter at your own risk, sit in the back away from nasty waitress lady and pray your night is not ruined.
Just awful. First time getting the pizza at this place and truly disappointed something i could have messed up at home or paid 20 dollars less for ordered the combo and the jerks didnt put onions on till it was completed very poor job very poor service over the phone as well the garlic bread was burnt and this was just a terrible experience i will never put myself in hopefully those coming after will have better luck
To me giuseppes is great Italian food! I suggest getting the chicken parmesan. Trust me you won’t be disappointed!
Never going back to Giuseppe’s. I had heard years ago that this was a good place to eat. I finally decided to check it out. We were a party of five. The place seemed real nice. The prices were shocking!!!! I couldn’t believe you had to pay close to 20 bucks for Chicken Alfredo. You did get a lot of noodles but the chicken was lacking. Not much chicken at all. It was good food but nothing special. My son had a Calzone was the only thing that was a good value. It was huge. My husband had Lasagna he said it was good but too much cheese. It was a ok place to eat but nothing special. The price is what kills the deal for me. I don’t mind paying a hefty price for food as long as you get your moneys worth. That didn’t happen here so I will never go back. Maybe the lunch prices are better deals.
Textbook Ital-American…. At good Italian joints, you’re full before your entree even comes out. Even without an appetizer. And this place was better than good. Din-din came with a salad and antipasti, and as we were finishing them, we knew we were in trouble. Tried my wifey’s chicken fett/alfy and it was delicious. But the menu item that caught my eye was Chicken Parm Giuseppe–a variation using a white cream sauce w/mushrooms rather than standard red. It was fabulous. So much so, that I refrained from even eating the side of spaghetti in red sauce that came with it. And in fact, the only off food item indeed was the red sauce. It was only okay. No matter, because I had my hands full with the massive chicken portion. Prices might scare some folks off, but understand in joints like this, you’re not just ordering dinner….you’re ordering tomorrow’s lunch, as well…
Amazing! We were in town doing some shopping and decided to stop at Giuseppe’s for pizza. We were seated quickly, our order was placed within 5 minutes and the meal was ready in 20 minutes. We got one with mushrooms, pepperoni and olives and fresh tomatoes … honestly this pizza was delicious!! The service was great and the food even better. We loved it and will definitely come back!
