Good variety. Standard Asian buffet with well-tended hot and cold serving tins. Sushi is comparable to, say, Fred Meyer or a carousel place — pretty good but nothing special. Lots of seafood options, and plenty of fried goodness to choose from. I never see anything with nuts here — no almond chicken, cashew or peanut dishes — those with nut allergies should check with management but this could be a buffet haven for allergic diners.Many of their dishes feature fresh jalapenos, and the vegetables in general are crisp-tender and not overcooked. We enjoy it when we’re in the mood for a large, tasty, not-too fancy meal. The tiny scallops in a cream-shallot sauce served on the half-shell are a highlight of such meals, as are the tiny steamer clams swimming in their tasty, oily brine. Snow crab is usually available as well as several different shrimp dishes.All your usual Chinese soups, salad bar and better-than average dessert options for a Chinese Buffet.
