We were in Oregon for a wedding, and this bake shop was worth the hour we drove to get there. Eclectic offering of both sweet and savory scones as well as traditional pastries. The cheese sticks – best EVER. Carmelized onion scone – Oooh…
Delicious. Pleasant and inviting bakery. Friendly staff. Great selection of sweet and savory items. Had the almond poppy seed muffin. Almonds and glaze on top were outstanding. Not too sweet and the perfect complement to my coffee. Will go back soon.
Best bakery in Portland!. Of the many bakeries I visited on my recent Portlandia trip, this one is head and above the rest. We had the figgy buckwheat scone, the peach handpie, the parisian galette, and a chocolate chip cookie. The only disapointing item was the chocolate chip cookie – too sweet and too hard for my taste. Really cute bakery, but get there early or risk disappointment as the quantities are limited.
The buckwheat figgy scones are amazing! Love the bake shop.
Two words….FIGGY BUCKWHEAT!!! I’m addicted! This place is so good, I have a hard time staying away. Their hand pies are amazing, as is the entire menu. Kim Boyce is truly a master baker in every sense of the word. True quality
Hard to describe. You have to just go in and try something. Then you’ll understand. Basically, high quality baked goods–amazing! But, always better to try it than read about it. Really.
