I was really hoping this place would shine... Because I love seafood so much. We had the mussels with fries and although the mussels were soft and jui…

Not what I expected!. Well, I took my wife out this evening for our fifth trip to Cabezon and unfortunately it appeared to be a lackluster performance…

Another excellent meal with great service. One of our favorite in PDX…

We were taking my son to the airport to go back to school. we read all the great reviews on this place and thought this would be a good farewell dinner.I had the Sea bass, which was cooked okay, but the preparation was not the best. Both the wife and daughter had the Salmon and loved it! I guess what turned me off, was the waitress had the personality of a doorknob, and we could barely get a smile out of her.We are old time Portland troopers… I’m torn if we will give it my hard earned after tax dollars again… Never know… MORRY
Snootiest waitress EVER!!! …. Snootiest waitress EVER!!!Don’t tell me everything on the menu is good and the portion sizes vary. Well duh…of course they do. That’s why I’m asking for your expertise! Food was so-so. Probably won’t be back anytime soon
Divine!. Homemade pickled veggies, chicken liver pate, crustini….and the cioppino! It was all delicious, the owners (see: cook and hostess) were super friendly, the place is gorgeous. Go! Just go already.
First tip: make a reservation! This was perhaps the best seafood experience I’ve had. I had the oyster appetizer, the Grouper main course, and the lavender honey creme brle. All were heavenly. They even suggested a really good beer for me based on what I liked. The service was excellent, and they managed to find a spot for our group of three when we walked in on a very busy night. The place is small and popular, so don’t count on getting in without a reservation. I would definitely go there again.
What a find! Being a seafood snob from Louisiana, this was a delightful experience. Excellent choice for any occasion. We were 10 from 5 different countries and there was no dissension. And, a 2009 Oregonian Pinot Noir…fabulous!!!
The folks were nice, the space nice, the starters good, but the Cioppino was not. One crab leg?? Really? A dollop of creme fresh in the middle? Really?? Having grown up in San Francisco, I can safely say that was not Cioppino…a nice if thin seafood broth yes, Cioppino, no
Had a nice dinner at Cabezon. The cioppino was excellent. The NY strip was great too. The pear crisp was yummy.
