Best thai food in Portland! Very flavorful and fresh. My favorite is the pad kee Mao.06 Sep, 2013The best Thai I have found in pdx.
Great food. Great price. Veggies were cooked perfectly!
Great lunch. I had Thai food for the first time and really enjoyed it. The service was great and the seating was nice, right next to the window. We ordered the TOM-YUM soup with tofu and shrimp. It came with huge, tender mushrooms and the soup was pleasantly spicy. We also ordered the MIANG KUM and it was amazing. The numerous flavors worked well together and the chilies were HOT! I will eat here again.
I just got Pad Kee Mao and although its excellent… The portion is WAAAAAAAY too small…. Especially for the amount paid. Im pretty picky on my Thai food and most places give enough portions for one order to equal two…. But this one is barely one serving. I’m still hungry 🙁
So good, among the best Thai in Portland.
Not up to par. Ordered take out-for a small party. Salad rolls were really disappointing-mostly lettuce-other items were not very fresh, makes you wonder what it looks like in the kitchen-not eager to go back-with so many Thai places, mediocre is just not good enough.
Green Curry – with chicken. I adore green curry. I have at least two favorite restaurants that do a great job with their green curry. But now…I have to revise my whole scale of goodness. There is something magic about the green curry at Cha’Ba – the vegetables taste grilled, and the chicken tasted as though it had been roasted over real wood coals. Is it my imagination? Does it matter?
