Theres a new manager at Round Table Pizza. Shes renewed focus on customer service. Our last two visits were satisfactory experiences even though the staff made a mistake with our order last Monday.Mistakes happen. The best measurement of customer service is the service a customer receives when things go wrong.My wife and sons were coming home from school shopping when they stopped by after 5 p.m. for a take-out order. The managers concern was sincere and she resolved the issue above and beyond our expectations.On the subject of value, a large Round Table Pizza feeds our family of four; and extra-large is filling enough for six meals. Every month a sales flyer lands in our mailbox with coupons and a special.This months ad special was a large Maui Zaui pizza for $18.99. We purchased the Crispy Pepperoni and Bacon Maui Zaui, which features juicy pineapple, a tangy, sweet chili Polynesian sauce, red and green onions, Roma tomatoes and pepperoni and bacon. The chicken version is also tasty as the chicken balances nicely with the Polynesian sauce and pineapple.With two middle-school boys in the house, Round Table makes a nice treat and a break from the kitchen. We prefer Round Table to Roseburgs other fast food pizza options (Little Caesars Pizza, Dominos, Pizza Hut, Papa Murphys), which is why I rate it four stars against those competitors.
