This interesting place…….. Is operated by the kids from the Marion County Juvenile Department. And they do a super job of it. Those of you who’ve read my reviews know that two things really get my motor runnin’; good quality food and rock bottom prices! Well, this place had the old tachometer red-lined today! I had half a Turkey and Cheddar Sandwich with Tomato, Onion and Lettuce on good Whole Wheat Bread and a Bowl (they called it a Cup. Not so.) of spicy Chili with Beans served with Onions, Jalapeos and Saltines for FOUR BUCKS! They also offer Ham, Chicken Salad, and Roast Beef Sandwiches and Italian Wedding Soup on this deal. (I think the Soups change daily.) The place has a Coffee House/Produce Market/Nursery combo vibe. It’s very clean and comfortable. These young people are very enthused about what they are doing and are developing good business and social skills in the process. If you want a great and cheap lunch in warm and friendly surroundings, you really should give this place a try.
