Recycled Food?. We made the visit on a Friday night. I ordered Yaki Udon, and my partner ordered the Chicken Plate. This was around Christmas, and the place was busy. My partner’s food came out and was served to him. My food came out and was set on the wrong table. My food sat there while the woman ran around serving others. Finally the folks at the table flagged her down and said they didn’t order the Yaki Udon. The woman picked up the plate walked around the place, and then set it down in front of me. The first folks didn’t touch the food, but there was talking, laughing, coughing, and sneezing going on. I asked if that was the food from the other table and she said yes, but they didn’t touch it. I told her I wanted another fresh plate. She seemed miffed and wasn’t happy about having to take the food back. I’m sure this is against Health regulations, and her attitude was against my customer service regulations. We won’t go back. The gal in question turns out to be the wife of the owner. She should know better.
Go to lunch spot. Love Love is one of my go-to lunch spots because they feature tasty lunch specials at good prices. I went here with our work group and ordered Lunch Special #2, a spicy chicken bowl. Their teriyaki sauce is excellent and I enjoy the simple oriental salad that comes with the order. Service is reasonably fast and the food consistently good.
Excellent fast, fresh, well prepared food at a reasonable price. Far better than the other Love LoveTeriyaki Restraunts in town.
Great place. Beautiful inside. The food is always perfect. And the owners of this store are always working on site. Lunch menu is reasonably priced and they have a punch card. Diners do not have as much food as you get at a traditional Chinese food place, and the prices can be a little higher. but the quality is always there.
I don’t love love it.. Frozen peas and carrots kept the two wonton(actually gyoza) company in my bowl of Wonton Soup. The sauce on the curry chicken was delicious, but the vegetables were so overcooked that they melted in your mouth. Really bad. So much potential here. Sadly, it’s not realized.
Great place!. Their food is amazing and it comes to your table super fast! The waiters and waitresses are friendly and helpful and the entire place (including restrooms) are clean and well taken care of! I would give any of their 3 locations in Salem a 5 star!
The place was jumpin’!. It’s not surprising that this place is busy. It’s got the best Teriyaki in town. Beyond that, it’s more reasonably priced than most. I do like the Liberty RD S location better. It has a warmer, friendlier atmosphere. She Who Must Be Obeyed had a Teriyaki Chicken Rice Bowl. I had Teriyaki Yaki Soba Noodles with Shrimp. They were very liberal with the Shrimp. (9 big bad boys!) Carol’s Chicken was all tender thigh meat. Of course their legendary T. Sauce is always as good as it gets. Order to presentation elapsed time was well within the bounds of acceptability. Although I could have done without CNN on a big screened TV, we’ve never had a bad meal or bad experience at any of their four locally owned and operated locations. If you love Teriyaki, you’ll love Love Love’s!
