Lum-Yuen is Awesome!. It’s very popular Chinese restaurant by 3rd ranks. Parking lot always pack of jams during dinner time. If you don’t like overcrowd people in the longest waiting line. I would recommend for you wait until after 7:00 PM.
Remind Yourself How Good Chinese Can Be. Today ordered General Tso’s chicken and egg foo young. Pure nirvana. This must be where General Tso’s chickens go when they die. Totally glorious. This place will restore your faith in Chinese food when there are so many bad places out there. Super generous portions as well. The egg foo young brown sauce was rich and delicious. Forget south Salem and the Golden Crown (totally going downhill). You can’t beat this place.
AWESOME!!!!!!. Lum Yuen has the BEST GENERAL CHICKEN EVER! I love Chinese food…period. But whenever I am in Salem and get a hankering for GOOD Chinese, I call Lum Yuen and get some GOOD food! Mongolian Beef is another must. Try the Special Chow Mein is you go. Erin has always been the best server! She’s been there for ages and KNOWS what makes customers happy!

I was working at a business nearby and after work i stopped in this place. Great food with huge portions. Now that I know this place exist I don’t get so mad when my work sends me to Salem.
Not the best, but not bad, either.. Food can be hit-or-miss, but mostly hits. Staff is friendly. Prices reasonable. There are better Chinese restaurants in town – Marco Polo Global Restaurant probably being best. But if you’re on the North end of town, and wanting Chinese, it’s not a bad place to eat.
