Thought this was going to be a good find. It was not. Southwest egg rolls were chewy and tasted old, the onion ring haystack was greasy. The sweet tea was made with Splenda. To top it off they ran out of mashed potatos at 7:30 on a Saturday night. My chicken was dry and the tri-tip was hard. Our waitress was friendly but too busy to be attentive. Refills were non existent. I will never eat at this chain again.

Hadn’t been here in several years.. No reason really, I just don’t get to that end of Lancaster DR much anymore.I walked in, seated myself and got right to work on the bucket of in-the-shell Peanuts. (The shells go on the floor as others have mentioned.) My first thought was they’re so much cleaner and better than the culls 5 Guys is putting out.Within minutes my server, Travis, brought me a menu and took my beverage order. I picked the House Burger with Bleu Cheese. Moments later Travis brought me a brace of Sweet Dinner Rolls and a small tub of Whipped Butter. (Rather unusual with a Burger & Fry order, I thought.) Each meal is prepared to order so it took about 20 minutes for mine to find its way to me. But it was medium-rare, just as I had requested. My Fries were extra crispy just the way I like ’em. Malt Vinegar was available. The Bleu Cheese was liberally applied and zingy. A nice wedge of Iceberg Lettuce, two Tomato Slices, Red Onion and Dill Pickles made for a formidable Hamburger. If I never heard another country western song in my life, it would be OK with me. But I understand that that’s part of the roadhouse shtick.Travis did a good job and tolerated my questions with equanimity and was the perfect gent.A good Burger and Fries with Dinner Rolls and all the Peanuts you can eat for less than nine bucks (pre-tip) is a fair deal in today’s world.I won’t wait so long for a return visit this time.08 Apr, 2010It’s been awhile since I’ve been here.. But the food we got was good. The service was too. And the portions were large. I thought the peanut shells were part of the charm of the place. Shades of Tom Jones!

Nothing special. Came here for my mother’s birthday. Got a burger but it wasn’t anything special. The fries were greasy and cold. Didn’t eat very much of them. Would rather go to many other places instead.

Nice happy hour. Went for supper but sat in the bar area and enjoyed a nice happy hour. Good food great price. Will be back soon. Thanks

Not all that. Food was greasy, service was slow. I don’t see the big hype on this place.

Love it!. I really love this place. The food is good, the peanuts on the floor are cool, but we never eat here because they don’t have a single thing my man can eat (which is not uncommon for a vegan in a steak house :P) If you are meat eaters, you should have no problem finding something delicious to eat.

Lonnie Starks. Being from a bygone era, I really enjoy the peanut shell on the floor atmosphere, and tonight’s visit was enhanced by our waitperson, Alejandra who totally went out of her way to make sure that we had a perfect, relaxed and fun dinner. The ribs were done to perfection; as they have been each time I have been there and the room was filled with laughter. Nice!
