  Very disappointed all around with the ambiance, the food and service. I even had to go look for someone to see where my bar beverage was and the bartender made a Spanish coffee wrong….really? was kinda laughable….Don’t bother with this establishment…..

  Great Experience. This was our third visit to Willamette Valley Grill and we left knowing we will go back… Drinks were good, wine was good. We ordered two Rib Eye steaks and they arrived perfect. Our server was Sarah M. and she did an outstanding job of explaining specials, keeping drinks alive and being a good representative of the restaurant. It was just a good experience and aenjoyable evening.

  Raw and overcooked steaks. Three of us ordered steaks, and on all three there were both overcooked and raw pieces. It was served with a brown gravy type poured all over the mashed potatoes, which minus the sauce were fine.on the delicious side, bread was warm and tasty with gourmet butters. We had to ask several times for more water. Did not order dessert, and won’t return

  Fine cuisine. Our Supper Club, four family members joining up for dinner each Tuesday search carefully for a monthly BOGO coupon from Willamette Valley Grill. If not for the coupon we’d not be able to afford this upper price end dinner. WVG is located on the west end of the Red Lion on Market Street. The decorations are minimalist in a traditionally arranged dining room. Somewhere in the back a talented chef is creating tasteful and good looking dishes – probably worth the price listed on the menu. The meal making it to the table is always delicious in an elegant fashion. Salad is fresh, crisp with a good presentation. We’ve visited WVG probably 5 or 6 times on the coupon. Our choices included: smoken chicken pasta w/cranberries & toasted hazelnuts, roasted chicken breats w/ demiglaze, fennel pollen lamb chops & sauteed shrimp & angel hair pasta – each tasty enough to order on our next visit. The wait staff are well trained and quick to please – especially Grant & Wendy. If WVG has a marketing strategy they might consider putting out ‘the word’ to area high schools to offer a special price for couples headed for a formal dance to dine at WVG – the dining room would look great with young people dressed up in their finery.

  Great quality tasty local food!. This place has been voted best of mid valley by the statesman journal. Their meats are naturally grown and local and you can definitely taste the difference. We’ve been here twice and have been very pleased both times. They start you off with fresh warm rosemary garlic bread and rosemary olive oil to dip in. The waiters are very friendly and professional. We have had the fennel dusted lamb chops with pomegranate merlot sauce and parsnips AND the valley burger and both are DELICIOUS!!! The prices are moderate, about what you would spend at any other steakhouse but with much more quality and flavor…we have been to outback steakhouse, original roadhouse and the best little roadhouse and none we think compare in flavor to the food here. Our meat was juicy not dry like what we’ve had elsewhere. WE HAVE FOUND OUR NEW BEST PLACE FOR HEALTHY FLAVORFUL LOCAL FOOD!
