The worst dinner I’ve ever had.. My family had dinner there and I should have paid attention to the empty parking lot. My wife and I ordered steak Fajitas and it was so bad I had one bite and not another,it tasted like they cooked it in Heinze 57 sauce it was sweet and didn’t taste like beef. My sister in law had a Chimichanga and it was clearly frozen the chicken was dry and the sauce was terrible. I’d go on but why there was 8 of us and none of us ate our meals. Don’t waste your time or stomach this place is awful,not to mention the service was bad to.
I don’t know how this place got any bad reviews – delicious. Wait staff was awesome. Stopped to play transformers with my 6 year old. It is spicy salsa, but in flavor not heat. Had a delicious burrito rancheros. Couldn’t finish it was so big! We are from the east coast and delighted to find authentic, quick Mexican food. I don’t know how it compares with CA quick joints but we easterners loved it!!! Oh, and the guac was awesome. Cilantro and line and tomatoes in it.
Perfect Strawberry Margaritas!. A few nights ago we dined here again and really enjoyed the Strawberry Margaritas! Fresh chips, chicken enchilada and warm service make this a great choice for a Mexican meal at the coast. :)13 Jan, 2012Yummy Deluxe Enchilada. On the back of the menu is the Deluxe Enchilada which includes sour cream and is made with a flour tortilla. Since it is on the back, I had not seen this item before last night. Delicious! Chips were warm and fresh and the salas is wonderful, a little on the hot side. Very good Margarita also! :)10 Sep, 2009This Place Has It All!. Wonderful ambiance with new, colorful decor, fantastic service and great food! The portions are large and the salsa is muy bueno! Don’t miss this place for a great Mexican meal while in the Seaside area. 🙂
NOT SATISFIYING. First off our waiter was RUDE, the place was empty but we didnt think nothing of it. Our chips tasted old & the salsa was WAY too hot, asked for a milder salsa & got a glare, then was told of course you can. When our food arrived it looked amazing but taking the first bite and it tasted horrible. We mentioned it to the waiter and he gave no appologies or anything. DONT STOP IN FOOD IS GROSS, CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!!!!!! Next time we are in town we are going across the parking lot and eat some Amazing food at casa del sol. They have great ratings by yelpers! YELPERS BE AWARE DONT EAT HERE!!!!
My family and I went to the restaurant and my cousin got sick and my husbands food had a horrible taste. My husband ordered shrimp and it did not taste good at all I kind of got the ocean taste. If it weren’t for the fact that the one in rockaway closed we would have never gone there and will never return
Excellent Authentic Mexican Food. This is a nice restaurant located right off HWY 101N in Seaside. The place is clean, well lit and offers an extensive menu. The Margarita drinks we chose were made really good. The dishes we tried, Aroz Con Pollo, Pollo Asada and the chicken Taco Salad were all yummy and prepared well with generous portions. Clean place, Good authentic food, modest prices, excellent service! What else can you ask for?
Deserves Higher Ratings. This place really does not deserve the low ratings that it has. We almost didn’t go due to the low ratings. We thought the atmosphere, service, and food were great. We had chile verde burritos and the chicken ranchero. They were both really good.
