Best gelato I’ve ever tasted! They had so many amazing flavors and were generous with the tasting spoons. It almost made it more difficult to make a decision! Also had quite the dairy-free selection. Cute, family-run shop that makes everything themselves. We will definitely be stopping here every time we’re in Seaside.
We happened upon this gelato place last night without reading any reviews and boy am I glad we took a chance! (And now that I’ve read the reviews I agree with every single one of them!) this place is the best! My husband and I and our 4 kids were all so happy with Sea Star. We interacted with all 3 of the employees and they were all so friendly and patient and excited to hand out as many samples as we asked for! The gelato itself is amazing and some of the flavors are very creative and all delicious. Trust me, between the 6 of us we tried plenty. They have flavors like salted caramel, sweet cream, chocolate w a peanut butter ribbon, butterfinger, birthday cake, strawberry fields forever, hazelnut, and the list goes on. If you’re looking for a fruitier choice they had pineapple, watermelon lime, coconut, pink grapefruit, mango, banana and lots more. No matter the size, you can pick two flavors and have it in a cup, waffle cone, or brioche (sweet roll). Honestly, we stumbled upon this place last night and we’re purposely going back tonight! Don’t miss it!
