Ordered the stormcrow stout. It’s decent. The Venus is really nice. Sat at the bar. The bar guy was not happy though. He was a bit rude. Didn’t kill my vibe though!!! imriche.com
Just passing through and took a chance on this place. The Reuben sandwich was very tasty! Would definitely recommend to others if they are in the area. travelandtable.com
Fun place with the family play games while you eat. Food is ok. Fish tacos aren’t good more fry batter than fish. Upstairs gets loud.
Nice place to grab a pint.. We were passing through Seaside on a recent trip and decided to stop in at Seaside Brewing for a beer. The building housing the brewery and restaurant is the old city hall and jail of Seaside. The bar is were the jail cells were located.I was disappointed in the selection of beer here. They only had two beers they brewed on tap and 6 guest taps to choose from. They had North Coast red ale and their IPA.I chose the North Coast red ale. It was fairly hoppy but had a nutty flavor to it also.The staff were very friendly and the menu had the usual pub fare.(Pictures are posted of this visit.)
Great Beer Selection. We had dinner there this week. I had the Carnitas tacos and she had the Fish & Chips-both were great.One type of beers they carry is a sour or Lambic, my favorite! The North Coast Red is also good. The Black Dynamite Stout is sure to be a future award winner. This place is a favorite.
The fish in the fish & chips was great. However, that’s about all I can say positive. Their beers are average. The service is just ok. There is so much potential here, I can’t believe it’s not any better. Especially considering they are trying to entertain clientele from the greater Portland area…home of the microbrew. The location is perfect, but the atmosphere is completely drab. They are located in the old jail and could use this to their advantage, but aren’t at this time. I visited on a Friday night, 9 pm, and during the height if the tourist season…the place was nearly deserted. I hope they can infuse some life in the place. It could be so much better.
