I must admit I haven’t ate there since the new ownership. Not for lack of trying but the lady at the counter was on the phone (seemed like a personal call) and she ignored us. We waited for close to 5 minutes while she chatted. And went to Daisy May’s instead. We have went by since same girl always seems to be on the phone. Even if the food is good it is not worth waiting to be acknowledged. Many better places to go to with better service.
Terrible. In fairness they make some of the best spicy tuna roll I have ever had however I understand there language and they say terrible things thinking you can not hear or understand. If you want abuse go if not stay home.

No condiments like soy sauce or anything. Food barely edible. I don’t recommend at all and I used to love the Astoria location.
Rude.. The Owner of this restaurant is very rude. after being ignored for 5 min while he yelled at his wife i just left. i’ve eaten here a few times before, hes always rude.might be worth it if the food was better its ok but not worth the abuse. go to the tora sushi lounge on broadway and holliday. much much better.
Great General Tsao’s. The General Tso’s Chicken was great. One of the best I have had. The Teriyaki Chicken actually was one of the worst. The Teriyaki sauce had little flavor, and just tasted sweet. Overall, I would go back.
This restaurant serves the best vegetable tempura I’ve ever had! I also had the tofu teriyaki bowl and loved it–the sauce is just sweet enough; the rice was cooked perfectly; the tofu bits were lightly fried–I don’t know what technique they used but I’ve never had tofu prepared this way–and the veggies were tasty. Great food, convenient location to outlet mall, fast service and big servings at low prices…what more could you ask for?
