Our server was fun and………. Engaging. It was obvious he enjoyed his work.They had a $5.99 lunch special which included three of six offered menu items. My brother had Sweet & Sour Pork, Pork Fried Rice and Chow Mein. My order agreed with his first two choices but I opted for Fried Shrimp. We agreed that the Pork Fried Rice was good, but were underwhelmed with the other items. The Cocktail Sauce and Hot Mustard for the Shrimp were in squeeze bottles on the table at room temperature. As a result, the Mustard did not have that burn-your-sinuses zip which I normally enjoyThe restaurant was dated but very clean and well kept. I thought the lighting could have been brighter.On scales of 1 to 5, I’d give the service a 4 and the food and restaurant each a 3. Although Chan’s enjoys a higher approval rating than Happy Jing (Silverton’s only other Chinese option), I would have to disagree with that.
