Best pizza! Great atmosphere!
Never again. I know the evening was extremely busy but the service was horrendous and the food was barely edible. I had the fish and chips, warm coleslaw, cold toast, tiny serving of fries, and inedible fish.I think the waitstaff was rationing water as we didn’t get any refill even though we were seated closest to the wait station and servers were constantly walking buy .I won’t be back.
Hit n Miss. Depends on the day service! My mate and I have gone to Homeplace and have experienced the most polite, prompt waitress, then to return to be the unfortunate ones to get the border line drug addict who cannot serve water without spilling. The pizza is so/so. Not my favorite, but not the bottom of the line either. If you happen to be in Silverton and get a pizza craving, try it…..if you really want good pizza, drive across town. The good pizza comes on wheels if you know what I mean….
Good pizza, nothing else.. We have tried the restaurant side of the home place multiple times and every time it was horrible!! the pizza is great i love the cowgirl!!
Great place. We love Home Place..will drive miles to have a great breakfast like they serve. Food is good comfort food, prices are best around. They do have a following and most of us know what to do when we arrive. Seat yourself and someone will take your order. Food is prepared just as you like it and plenty of it.
Appalling service….. She who must be obeyed and I stopped here for breakfast this morning. The parking lot was mostly full, which I usually interpret as a good omen. We walked in, seated ourselves and waited. An hygienically challenged server parked two glasses of water on our table and scurried away. Fifteen minutes later our orders had still not been taken. We walked out. So much for my parking lot theory!!! As sometimes happens, our rotten experience precipitated a good one. We wound up lunching at the Glockenspiel in Mt Angel and found the fantastic Brats we had enjoyed at the Pink House in Independence at the Mt Angel Sausage Company.
