I wanted so much to like this place. Was here a few years ago just for a beer and it was great. Stopped by today and it was just so disappointing. 1/3rd the menu was out or no longer available. The food we ordered was just not good (disgusting burnt bread on sandwich, uber stale chips). It was just so….sad :/

Used to be better…. When this place opened, they really were on it! They seem to have become complacent! The service could use a lot of improvement. The food is pretty spendy for typical bar food that the menu attempts to make sound like something special. However, the microbrews are great!

It’s a wash. There are lots of appealing things about Seven Brides. The food is good, live music, nice atmosphere, great beer… BUT the food is pricey for what you get, especially the kids menu & the service is slow.

Great beer selection and good food. Very reasonable prices and large portions.

The only thing cheaper than $10 are appetizers. The food is fine, but too expensive for what you get. The beer’s fantastic, but you can drive a couple blocks to the Mill Town Pub and get it (and good food) for half as much.

I’d been braggin’……….. This place up to my pal Tom Brown (AKA Mr. Gregarious) for a couple of weeks. I returned with Tom today. Another friend was scheduled to meet us there and try their 10 for $10 brew sampler. He couldn’t make it so we deferred that experiment for another day. The dcor here utilized galvanized steel to wrap the pillars and adorn one wall. That’s where the similarity to a Chipotle franchise ends! It’s really very inviting with burgundy linen table cloths and warm accents. Our server, Elise, was helpful and friendly. I had a Reuben with a green Salad side with their excellent Honey-Mustard Dressing washed down with a Kelly’s Irish Stout. All very good. Tom had a roast Beef Sandwich with BBQ flavored Corn Chips. He chose a glass of Emily’s Amber for his beverage. This is a very friendly place. Tom soon had conversations going with our server, several other customers and finally, in the parking lot, with one of the owners and the PBS film crew which was shooting for an America’s Heartland episode. You just can’t take him anywhere without meeting a bunch of new people. Good food, Great Ales and nice people. Sounds like a hat trick to me!02 Apr, 2011Thought I’d had good Fish Tacos!. But these knocked me out! Blackened Tilapia with their house made Pico de Gallo, Lime and their own Mojito Grilling Sauce, all wrapped up in four Fresh Corn Tortillas and served with Crisp Corn Chips and wonderful Slaw. Oh Momma! She Who Must Be Obeyed chose the Gilled Portobello Sandwich. This Big Meaty Mushroom came with a Tomato Slice, Mozzarella Cheese, Oven Roasted Garlic and their special Aioli surrounded by a fresh baked Keizer Roll. It was a blast of flavors! She picked Butternut Squash Soup, for her side, which she enjoyed, but was a little on the sweet side for my tastes. We shared a wonderfully Hoppy 20 oz. glass of 7B’s Frankenlou’s IPA. Two great lunches were these! We noticed, at a nearby table, a couple with a long line of 5 or 6 oz. glasses of various brews placed before them. I half jokingly asked our server, Justine, if that was their sampler tray. IT WAS! 10 Brews for $10! If I’m right about the glass’s sizewell, you do the math. What a bargain! I’ll be back (with someone to carry me home) to give this deal a try.
