Used to like this place. One female owner (or waitress) was extremely rude to me about plugging in my laptop, which I have done in the same spot every time I’ve been there for well over a year. Customer service with a friendly attitude is important in an environment where we are there to relax – congeniality shouldn’t be such a stretch. This is a shame because prior to this everyone there has been so nice. A heads up – if you like tea beware of the string on the teabag with no tag – it migrates down the string and leaks down the outside of the mug! Once I was offered a saucer and spoon, but usually that doesn’t happen. Green tea offered is actually black. We used to come for the view and because one of the owners (male) and staff there are so nice. Now the one reason I go has evaporated. Can’t recommend it anymore and won’t be back. If you’re a tea drinker or need to plug in this isn’t the place for you. There are other lovely coffee shops in Silverton to enjoy!
