Wonderful atmosphere and well prepared delicatessen. This place is actually kid friendly, they provide a brown paper table cloth for the kids to color on. The only thing missing is good coffee, which you can get next door at the Silver Creek Cafe.

Wonderful. We had a wonderful meal there, and the chef/owner was very active in taking our order and talking to us. The flavors were extremely well mixed, and the vegetables were cooked to perfection. One that the really stood out to us is his wine pricing. Most restaurants try to charge 2 1/2 to 3 times cost – sometimes even retail. However, this wine list has some excellent wines, and the most expensive was $28, by my estimate 1 1/2 times cost. That in and of itself will have us back there again!

In one word: Excellent! From the rabbit and pork torene (sp) appetizer, to the rabbit and lamb dishes that my husband and I had, to the creme brle and strawberry desserts, to the awesome Thumbprint Cellars Zinfandel. Excellent food, excellent service, excellent experience.

Par Excellence…. An elegant bistro on par with any in the Greater Northwest and beyond. This charming and exceptional restaurant should be located in downtown San Francisco, where fresh, locally acquired ingredients and excellent, creative craftsmanship are highly prized. Truly an astonishing find here in the Willamette Valley. How blessed these Oregonians are!The owner and his wife personally waited on our celebratory table of 8. My parents, aged Europeans who are gastronomically spoiled beyond belief, were effusive in their praise of the food, wine and genial, amicable service. We chose a variety of entrees- from fresh King salmon to lamb ragout over hand-made cavatelli, and found each dish carefully considered and masterfully made. Importantly, the entrees arrived hot, the local organic vegetables crisp to the bite and joyfully, jubilantly perfect. When desserts arrived, the European influence could be tasted at first bite: deep, luscious dark chocolate ganache enrobed a serendipitous dome, and an equally desirable rustic tart spilled over with baked berries and hand-churned ice cream.Delightful, decadent and daringly delicious. This gem is tucked into downtown Silverton; lucky, blessed people who live here year round and have a master chef to create culinary delights for them!Bravo…Bravo!
