  To put it simply, this place feels like home. As soon as you walk in, it wraps you in a warm blanket of comfort. They have the best burger in town, the nicest staff imaginable (they become like family quick), and the bar reminds me of my grandpas basement-bar! The regulars are some of the best people youll ever meet.

  Great place, friendly people. My wife and I went there for our 23rd anniversary. When we walked in the door everyone said hello and a very kind gentleman who was sitting at the bar brought us our menus. The atmosphere was excellent and the food was great. Would highly recommend!!!

  Used to be one of the best. Back in the 1990’s this place was the best. they cut all their own meat. the prime rib and steaks were to die for. they had wonderful breakfast and the service was a lot better than I hear it is now. The children of the owner took over the place and drink a bit, so you can only guess what has happened to the place. So Sad.

  Pass on this one!. There are dive bars which have some pretty respectable food and great service. This is definitely not one of them. There were two locals in the place at 11:45 AM and they were not there to eat. I asked the lady bartender/server/Jacqueline-of-all-trades and master-of-none if their kitchen was open. She said it was. I grabbed a pair of menus from the bar and SWMBO and I seated ourselves at a table. The lady brought me water and took Carol’s order for a Bud Light (I know, but she’s a dear girl otherwise!) I asked her if the Sandwich Meat was processed. She said she didn’t know but didn’t think so. I asked her if the Reuben Sandwiches were made with Corned Beef or Pastrami. She didn’t know but thought Corned Beef. I asked her if the Bleu Cheese on the BC Burgers were real BC or Dressing. She thought Dressing. I asked her if she had Malt Vinegar for French Fries. She said she’d find out. I risked an order of Chicken Strips and Fries. My bride ordered a Hot Dog. (A perfect pairing for her Bud Light! ;~D)Shortly our orders arrived. No Malt Vinegar. I asked about it once again. She brought me a small plastic cup of Balsamic Vinegar Salad Dressing of some sort.The Fries were acceptable. The Chicken Strips were not fit to eat. No dipping Sauce of any kind was provided. Carol, my brave girl, managed to get a small portion of one down. Carols Dog, we think was a Kosher Costco Hot Dog which was OK but her Bun was stale. A bottle of runny Ketchup and a container of Yellow Mustard were on the table. Otherwise the Dog was naked. The meals were cheap. (11 bucks and change) But I still didn’t feel we got what we paid for. I left a dollar tip which was 75 cents more than she deserved. The low approval rating is understandable but still on the high side we thought.Little Silverton has some good restaurants. We see no reason to suggest anyone waste their money on this one.Note: As an added bonus we saw the Mayor, Stu Rasmussen, who has gained national notoriety for his fashion statements. Today he was wearing a daring mini-skirt over argyle pantyhose and a dangerously tight sweater which accentuated his bountifully enhanced upper torso. His flaming red hair was done up in a delicately modified French Twist to which the stiff breeze had added a certain carefree casualness. Quite a treat really.
