Now serving ready to eat Chowder!. Most denizens of Salem have long been familiar with Fitts as a premier Seafood and Poultry market which has served our community for 111 years. Their products have always been the freshest and best to be had.Now they’re serving some fine Clam Chowder. $4 per bowl! It’s a lot better than Mo’s but not quite as thick and good as Captain Don’s. But it is loaded with Clams and the price is surely right. For now, it’s a to-go only deal. But their neighbors have a couple of sidewalk tables, so who knows what the future will bring?Stop by and pick up a bowl or two.
