Nasty food. China buffet is the best Chinese buffet in Salem
Came here with some friends from out of town. They had been here before and had really enjoyed it before. I had never been here before. I thought the decor was pretty plain and the lighting was a bit dark for my tastes. But I am here for the food and not necessarily the decor. The buffet tables were full and the food was pretty tasty imo. I found plenty of food that I really enjoyed and ate every bite. They even have a Mongolian Grill in the back so you can build your own plate and have it cooked fresh for you. I love this kind of stuff. The service was quick and helpful keeping our drinks filled and our plates cleared . After reading reviews here about their health records I looked it up and they got a 80 in September. I probably would try it again
Wow. Alot of bad reviews but we have gone several times and loved the food. They cater to those who like asian and for kids who are picky. Great service.
Not worth the money. The foods alright.terrible service as well. I don’t trust some of the food either
The fact that you can find jello and spring rolls on the same buffet should be all the warning you need. Apparently not e everyone shares my opinion because the place was packed. It was like a chinese Golden. Corral.
Really???. This was BAD!! I have nothing else to add.
Chinese Buffets are usually a disappointment. This one was no exception. A great wall is what should be built around this place. Not to protect it but to protect it’s would-be patrons. (THEIR MOST RECENT HEALTH DEPARTMENT INSPECTION, 12/28/09, GAVE THEM A GRADE OF 75, JUST ABOVE FAILING!!) Do yourself a favor and keep driving south on Commercial seven blocks to Hong Kong House and have some decent Chinese food!Update 1/15/12: Here’s their December 2011 Marion County Health Department inspection report: http://apps.co.marion.or.us/RIS/Restaurant.aspx?rid=242542AJust thought you should know.
