I must confess… I LOVE This place!. I care about the quality of the food I eat. (You can’t be too careful these days.) I trust the integrity and quality of the food at LifeSource. I eat at the LifeSource Deli regularly because 1.) They use certified organic ingredients 2.) You can see the kitchen and how clean it is. 3.) The selection of food is great, and healthy. 4.) The professional cooks are fantastic. I did a little comparison shopping and their prices are actually about the same as a restaurant, but for better, fresher food!I looked for the mythical 59 cent brown egg (from another review) and guess what! I found a jumbo organic hard boiled egg ready to peel and eat. Yum!
I must confess………….. I had to smile at their 59 cent (each) brown eggs. Of course they were probably laid by hens fed only organically raised crickets. I buy my Jumbo eggs at WINCO for $1.19 per dozen. That seems like a considerable price difference to me, but to LifeSource patrons, it’s probably just chicken feed.
Good food.. The food is pretty good, though it is a bit overpriced. One of the problems is that they have different people cooking the same dishes on different days, so there is a bit of variable quality – I’ve had really bland root veggies and extremely flavorful ones. If you want more consistent quality, try grabbing something from the refrigerated stuff right next to the hot bar. It’s all quite delicious. Also, it’s nice to be able to know every last ingredient in what you’re eating.
VERY mediocre food and all bland and seasoned very similar so we joke it doesn’t matter what you grab at the food bar cuz it’ll taste the same. Overpriced food and their pizza is always dry and bare. Employees are nice though.
Great soup and a large selection of tasty veg and non veg things in the deli area. Great pizza as well.
