Eat outside in the sun.. Went for happy hour on Sunday. Pints were 3.50$ and they had a few happy hour items as well (see picture). The outside tables were located just perfect to enjoy the afternoon sun. The cajon tator tots were hot and not bad for the price at all. Yes, the service can be slow, but dont go when you are in a hurry. Just find a nice sunny spot, bring a book or a friend and try of course, the beer.
WORST SERVICE EVER!!!. We live pretty close to Thmpson’s so we usually go there to sit outside for a beer in the summer. That is all it’s good for. Food is average. Now lets get to the the service shall we? This is the WORST and I mean The WORST service I have ever had in my life. You walk in the door, waiting to be seated for hours while no one even acknowledges you. So we always end up just seating ourselves. Still no one acknowledges. We always and I mean ALWAYS have to grab a waiter. There even has been times where we sit at the bar and the bartender doesn’t even look up at us or say anything. Oh, and it’s just not us that they ignore it’s everyone that comes in that gets ignored. It’s crazy!! I don’t understand how ignorant and stuck up these people are that work there. I could walk in with a white horse and they wouldn’t even notice.
Thompsons slow pub!. Thompson’s brewery is the worst place to go if you value good service. The beer is good( if you can get served). I understand that places get busy, but when the server does not even apologize or seem worried that you have been waiting so long it just frustrating.I have left there more than 10 times swearing that I would never return again. With small portions and an extended wait please don’t go there unless you have about 2 1/2 hours to kill.
Always Good. I have been to several of the Mcmenniman brothers venues around our area and they are consistently good. Their food choices are creative and substantial and their brews are the best.
Family Friendly. Our son was throwing a fit and made some other customers uncomfortable. We decided to leave, but the manager chased us down, offered us a different table, and emphasized that they wanted to accommodate all customers (families). So, we went in and enjoyed a great dinner. Oh, and they have some great beer too.Thank’s McMenamins!
We love their beer and their food. Service on weekends, particularly Sundays, can be slow as they seem short-staffed those days. Just plan on it taking awhile.
Great burgers!. We took the fam and had great burgers and fries! Someone tried the gyro and liked it, and one other tried the chicken.Friendly service, fun environment and good food.
