It’s All Good!. Whether it is the sandwiches, the macaroni and cheese bowl, the tri-tip (which I would kill for), the pulled pork or the chicken… You gotta try this place for lunch! It is SOOO good!

Lousy lunch. Seriously? Rice and meat with no plate lunch sides or sauces? Don’t sell yourself as Hawaiian if you aren’t going to even come close, brah. Don’t waste your lunch hour on this stand.

I’ve heard the rave about this place for awhile, and now recently being pregnant, I couldn’t go with out diving in as I drive pass this place on a regular basis! We ordered the short ribs, perfect balance of salty goodness, the pulled pork sanwich, succulent, sweet and great sized, and the yakisoba bowl with chicken as the noodles were cooked perfectly! There is no question we will be returning much sooner then later! Did I mention the prices are unbelievably fair??? My only wish was they had a dish with pineapple or perhaps tropical smoothie options!

The Best There is!. Wild Pineapple has great chicken teriyaki. It is not gooey like their competition. There is no heavy-handed sauce. A small cup of sauce comes with it. The taste from the marinade is subtle, and the pieces of chicken are crispy but not burnt. It comes with rice, I don’t go for heavy salads so I am waiting for a nice Asian cabbage slaw to be included. But I think the place is the best around. (I’ve tried Hawaiian places in Portland, also.)
