Nice Taqueria. Lots of choices. Seems pretty authentic. This is a place where you order at the counter and then they bring the food. We had one problem – although we were a small group, each couple ordered separately. So the kitchen didn’t know that we were all at the same table, and our food came out minutes apart. But the food was good; I would eat here again.
Tacos, Super Burritos and Tostadas!. Yummmy!! Very authentic and delicioso! The only thing I would change would be to make sure and get some Pico De Gallo for the Tacos, otherwise loved the rice and beans and home made corn tortillas! Service was friendly loved the bakery! 🙂
Real Mexican Food!. There are many Mexican restaurants around this area but I can’t consider them Mexican. It’s more of an American’s take on Mexican food. If you’ve never been South of the border and want to eat REAL Mexican food, then this is the place to go. I have tried many Mexican restaurants but Panaderia (Bakery) y Taqueria (Taco Shop) Gonzalez continues to be my favorite. They have an old school setup where you order and pay at the counter and then they bring out your meal. The place is always clean and has a good vibe to it. The owners and employees are always very friendly; the guy at the counter is funny and always has a smile. Overall a great experience. Now for the most important part of any restaurant, the food. Like I mentioned before, If you’ve never tried real mexican food, don’t be afraid to try something new! I have tried mostly everything on their menu (yes even their tongue tacos) and it’s always so delicious! They have everything from tacos, tamales, burritos, chile rellenos, and many other things I’ve never heard of! The spices are always just right and you can tell everything is made fresh. The tacos are especially delicious. They are made from handmade corn tortillas and there are many different meat choices. Carne Azada (steak) and alpastor (spiced pork) standout as my favorite. Whatever you choose, you can’t go wrong. The best part is their prices are very reasonable. On top of that they have a daily special as well. Also try the horchata, a drink made from rice, very delicious! And yes they have beer! You might have noticed the word bakery in their name. Yes, they also have an great assortment of mexican sweet bread. Same as the food, authentic and delicious.I can’t say enough good things about this place. I love eating outside in their patio during the summer time (with a corona of course!) it’s so nice! If you want amazing mexican food, great service, and all at a good price, then you definitely have to try this place. 5 stars.
