The food was so bland. I got the curry chicken and had to drench it with their hot sauce to get some flavor. My buddy and I lost our appetite quick. It was dirty and had a slummy atmosphere. The service was pretty bad too. The waiter was really hard to communicate with. It was hard to get their attention to ask for things. Portions were definitely huge though, but they were like $10-11 a plate so you pay for it anyway.

User reviews. Everyone said it was really good. Then we ate there…. Never going back again. The only thing we really liked were the spring rolls . The sweet-n-sour sauce was nasty. And the BBQ pulled pork sandwich on the american menu, used the red asian pork.
Great Food. My husband and I eat at Canton Wok whenever we are in The Dalles, we love their food, service is great and we always take food home for another complete meal (that is how much food you get).
STAY AWAY if you like authentic Chinese food. I ordered the chicken subgum and chow mein with sweet and sour chicken. The chow mein was more like a soup and the chicken was deep fried breaded chicken tenders with a drizzle of sauce. There is nothing Chinese about this place.
Good American Style Chinese Food-huge portions. If you want a truckload of chinese goodness at dirt cheap prices look no further than the Canton Wok!We have gone here twice now on our vacations. The food is great. The portions are huge. The specials are amazing compared to other chinese restaurants. The place is clean and the wait is short. We had leftovers for another meal. What more do you want for a 14 dollar meal for 2?! Anyone who complains about this place is crazy. I understand that the locals may gripe about the quality, but as a traveller on a budget, this place is the best you can find for good cheap old american chinese food! 5 stars!
Not good – go elsewhere. Seriously! If you are looking for something that at least hints at authentic, you’ll be very disappointed. I’m wondering what is wrong with people’s taste buds in The Dalles. This was horrible.
