I was not pleased with the dinner I had, I got the mushroom Swiss burger and it looked and tasted like the frozen pre made burgers you buy at the grocery store, plus my boyfriend got the beer battered fish and chips and it also looked pre made and frozen. We will not be going back.

Breakfast was good. Veggie omelet good size with lots of veggies. Hash browns nicely crispy. My Belgian waffle good but only cooked in Belgian waffle iron the batter was not the thick stuff you get in Brussels. Good solid food. Service was fine but as we were the only one in at 10:46 not a surprise.

Mothra Says….Zoo Animals, No Respect, No More. I must have passed this establishment 100’s of time to and from business appointments over the last couple of years over on Scholls Ferry near the 217. So, having a need to see my Niners on TV, K and I ran a couple of errands then headed over to Big Red’s to watch the last half of the 49er/Cardinals game. We entered this uh, well, uh restaurant and made our way to the back where the bar and 7-8 TV’s with assorted NFL games were showing. We seated ourselves and shortly afterward, Cari greeted us with a smile and asked for our order. Yes, it was happy hour. No, the glasses of white wine were not. I had a 16oz Hef for $3.00 Good deal. K had a glass of NZ Kim Crawford sav blanc. Color me shocked that they had this wine at all. Color me shocked that it was $8.75 for a 5oz glass. Woof. We ordered a HH hor d Oeuvre for $3.95: a half portion of nachos with ground beef and assorted guey cheese. That was really good and a bargain. Salted in the shell goobers were everywhere and on the floor to boot. That’s cool. But you know what you get with this: A bar1/2 full of rude neadethals swearin’, cussin, and basically making a sphincter of themselves (ie: one Ape mentioned that he was in a hot tub with two beautiful women who wanted him last night but he had to pass on them, he was just too tired. Yeah right! If you had seen this sphincter, no woman would have been seen in his company). This is not a place to take a lady and I willl not be bringing K here again.Pluses: Hors d’ Oeuvres actually pretty good. Minuses: Drinks good but overpriced in HH. Atmosphere: Zoo like. I won’t be back. Mothra says…..2.0 of 5.0

Great for breakfast. Great coffee, good service, great breakfast menu, good variety decent/comparable prices. My husband says they have the best bacon in town. It’s also nice to have a drink with breakfast, and they have a full bar!
