Great Food, Fantastic Service!. My husband and I dined in at Gustav’s for our wedding anniversary. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. It looks like Gustav’s is getting a makeover, the middle room was covered in tarp. The hosts were very friendly and prompt, took us right up to the top room. Our server, Rebecca, came to our table almost immediately after the host left, and helped my husband decide on a beer. When he chose, she informed us that there was a octoberfeast special going on, and that we could have 2 beers and 2 dinners. Beers came fast, followed by a manager, I didn’t get his name but he had an accent, who brought us fondue because he heard that we were celebrating our anniversary- I think from our server. The sausages came out fast, the sides were warm and delicious, and the beer was fabulous. Just like our trip to Germany!Thank you Gustavs!
Gustavs Mothers Day. I can make this quick or explain it all the way out.Horrible is the quick answer. Here is the long one. Mothers day failure.Roast Turkey cobb consisted of lettuce and avacado slices. There was no dressing, no crumbles, no tomato unless you had a magnifier with you. Basically a large bowl of lettuce. All this for $10.25. Such a deal. The roast chicken was not edible and they gave you french fries. Portion size for a small child. You decide if you want to eat there.
The lentil soup is to die for.
Fondue. One large fondue order. Not enough bread to finish.Ask for bread to finish the pot. That will be $1.00 please. Added to bill.Gustavs I will not be back.
We had it yesterday and it was delicious! Not thin at all. You must have got a bad batch. We thought everything was delicious and loved the happy hour prices.
