Cold beer AND cold food!. I don’t know why we keep going back here! Maybe it’s the tots, because I love the Cajun tots! Sadly, that is the ONLY thing they can cook right! Twice, our food has been cold. They must use a microwave, that is the only reason why some bites can be piping hot and others fresh out of the freezer. Disgusting. The salads are subpar. It’s very frustrating when I know I have made fresh salads one hundred times better in my own home. The menu looks good, but they need better cooks and fresh ingredients.
I wish I could like this place but it’s just not that great. Small menu. The food is ok but nothing special. The beer is good but are those real pints? I don’t think so. Smaller than pint sized beer glasses at more than pint sized prices.
For customer service I would definitely go to the Sherwood pub (which looks like it’s not on here). I am a fan of McMenamins with only a few conplaints: 1. I can’t stand their marinated red onion. 2. They don’t have the brewers crab fondue pot on special enough
Like any of the McMenamins chain, if its busy, don’t expect to be served. Waited ten minutes for acknowledgment from waiter and never got it, so it was over to Pizza Schmizza instead.
Stay away! We have been here at least a dozen times. The service is Always horrible. The only thing that kept us going back is the beer. This was the last time. We’ve had it with the bad service. It’s never been that busy either. Please stay away. Tell your friends.
Pints a plenty. We had the food which was okay, but the pints of Hammerhead Ale were awesome. Staff was very friendly and informative.
