Mothra Says….Fast, Fun, Unique. So K & I are doing some holiday shopping and are both famished. There is a new restaurant in an established area of Washington Sq shopping center (a former shipping center) and as we enter are greeted by a nice group of people. This is a very comfortable seated restaurant in a walk through and choose your entre, pay, sit and dine, type style. It is a nicely designed restaurant, well lit, nice seating tables, good service with Gary and his team, and an interesting menu: Salads, pasta bowls, wraps of fish, chicken, steak, et al with your choice of an assortment of fresh ingredients that you choose to place into your bowl, salad, or pasta dish. Regardless of what you choose, they fix it fresh in front of you. K chose a steak wrap with vegetables and spaghetti inside. Me, I chose a fried calamari wrap with fresh vegetables & pasta. In addition, we picked up a fried calamari and vegetables for 3.95. We sat and dined with our Italian Bellini’s, slusshy, and tasty. The two wraps were fresh and very good however, the Fried Calamari cup with sliced thin lemon and vegetables all crispy was the best and most attractive of the lunch.Good menu, delicious food, great service, attractive restaurant, out the door with tip at $27.00 Mothra says….
