Dry ribs and terrible coleslaw. My husband has been wanting to try this place, and I drug my feet because I didn’t hear good things about it. We finally visited it for dinner tonight, and it was disappointing to say the least. My ribs were over cooked and dry, the coleslaw is awful and the mac and cheese was so so. My husband had a dry tri tip and crunchy onion rings. The best thing about the place was the service, it was passable. It was a waste of time and money eating there, lesson learned.
Very Disappointed. I’ve lost count of how many establishments have been in this location in the past 10 years, but I can tell you that some of the staff are the same and their service hasn’t changed. It’s just plain poor. The Ribs were literally encrusted in the rub. The Cheeseburger was dry. There was more staff on duty than customers, either that or customers are allowed behind the bar. There is NO WAY to distinguish between staff and customers. The dress code is non-existent, and honestly, I question whether some have bathed recently. One thing I did appreciate was the conversation with Jansen (spelling), I don’t know if he’s an owner or not, but he took an honest interest and concern in the food allergies I have. I don’t see this as a viable eating place for me in the future and honestly, unless there are BIG changes in the way food is prepared and in the way the Staff present themselves, I don’t see the place lasting long.

Pretty Lame place. This place is a dive bar with nobody in it, the BBQisnt even on par with Busters or Famous Daves Ive been several times and its been empty except for a few drunks at the bar the food is very dry and just ploped on the plate although its better than the previous place that was here its still substanderd then menu is is just pretty much meat with limited choices. its not as place to go and dine at, the ambience is dark with a few barflies. the Chef is kind of grubby looking and hangs out with the customers its not very appitizing i would be suprised if this place is here in a year. The location seems to be cursed maybe the next incarnation will be a hit but this place is a dump !!
This place is completely amazing! jansen knows what he’s doing in the world of bbq. I highly recommend this place to anyone.
TERRIBLE SERVICE. I went in this establishment thinking I would give then a try…..I love the atmosphere here and was happy to see that it hasn’t been changed from the previous owners. Very comfortable….great place to watch sports. The big problem here is the service….it SUCKS!! They have this one waitress there I remember from the previous owners…..This lady could care less if someone comes in wanting service. I’ve sat there for 15+ minutes before she even checked with me. I’ve seen her sitting at customer’s tables just talking away visiting with friends…..ignoring people who she is supposed to be serving. So I was very disappointed to see she was still working here with the new owners. True to form…..I sat down and waited patiently for close to 15 minutes……she never even came over to check with me about taking an order. It wasn’t busy in the place at all……no excuse. Needless to say, I doubt i’ll be going back here anytime soon……which sucks because I LOVE BBQ and would have enjoy at least trying their’s out. Oh well……back to Famous Daves, where I can at least get someone to serve me!! Maybe I’ll give it another try when football season starts…..and anything close to this occuring again, and that’s it.
