Wheres the rest?. I have dined at 2 other Pastinis locatations. Broadway and Beaverton, great experience at both. The Bridgeport one seemed overwhelmed with the buisness they were getting on a saturday night, and although the service was good and they did seat us with a group of 5. My portion of food ( ordered chicken fettuccine ) was tiny. I’ve never left a pasta place hungry. I did last saturday. perhaps they were running low on food and skimped on the portion. would go back but not to this location.
The decor here is terrific, the service is superb. But the food was not good. We ordered a side of meatballs for my 13 month old daughter, and they had a strong chemical taste to them. My wife’s sandwich was blah and my pasta was all right. We have both eaten and enjoyed Pastini’s in Corvallis so we were surprised by the lack of quality at the restaurant here, as well as the fact that we were not offered bread and oil as we were at the other Pastini’s location. Not a place we would ever consider coming back to.
Olive Garden without the breadsticks.
Not the Best Italian. We live close to this location and eat here frequently at my fiancs request. I have been four times and have been disappointed four times. Last time I had the butternut squash, the sauce they used on the pasta overwhelms the pasta flavor. The menu options are also very limiting. The drinks served here are good and they do have gluten free items. I find this place a step above Olive Garden.
Worth every minute of the wait! Wonderful food. I recommend the Rigatoni w/bolognese
Love Pastini!. My husband and I frequent the Pastini at Bridgeport Village (no easy feat considering how awful parking can be), and I’ve visited the Division location once. We have never had a bad meal and have tried several items on the menu (my favorite is the lunch special ravioli). The food reminds me of what my Italian grandmother served in her restaurant when I was a little girl. It’s not ‘Americanized’ with too much cheese like so many Italian restaurants. The food is hearty, there’s just the right amount (not enough for three people in one bowl), and the prices are reasonable. The vegetarian antipasto platter is fabulous! It’s no longer on the menu, but can still be requested. And during the summer months, the Sangria, a must have!I highly recommend Pastini.
Easy, reliable, close by. We were eating late for us last night and wanted something light, but tasty. Decided on Pastini. This was my first time for dinner. I’ve had lunch there several times and always enjoyed it, especially the salads. Joe had the Pasta Primevera and I had the Spinach Chicken salad. Both were good. I forgot to ask for the dressing on the side, so too much dressing for my taste, but the spinach was fresh with a good amount of artichoke hearts and chicken. The service was very good, nice waitress. However, the noise level was loud. Difficult time hearing each other.
