I’m having a very difficult time finding anything good to say about my trip to this establishment. I ordered Chicken Marsala – yuk! The chicken was tough and had the texture ofbeing boiled,not pan braised. Since I had never heard of adding artichokes to this dish, I decided to give it a try. WhenI cook this at home I’ll know tonever add them tomy dish. Certainly not a place to linger. The hard boardsdo not make for comfortable seating.Make sure you use the rest room before you go there since there’s only room for one patron at a time. I waited and waited and waited for the ladies room until I finally ran toanother business to use their facility.I give it a 1.5 only because the waitress was friendly.
Mothra Says….Deliciousoso. On a recent afternoon after a howling movie matinee, K and I were famished and pasta on a sunny al fresco afternoon was looming in our near future. We were seated shortly after entering this restaurant in Bridgeport just prior to 2pm. The menu is large and the choices honestly appeared to satisfy anyones pasta palate. After choosing a bottle of Italian pinot grigio: di Lenardo, our server took our order and we sat, sipped our wine and people watched. Shortly after, Ks Caesar arrived with bread. We shared a half portion of this salad off of the menu loaded with croutons and fresh grated parmesan. Very good salad. Our entrees arrived and looked spectacular. My fusilli with chicken, roasted garlic and sun dried tomatoes in a very light cream sauce arrived and was delicious. Ks spaghetti carbonara in a parmesan cream sauce with bacon and peas looked equally mouthwatering…. And was by the way. K loved her dish as did I. These were two perfectly sized lunch portions with bread and a crisp bottle of wine. Lunch was really very good. Good prices, great menu, good service, great food! We will definitely be back.
