Polar King is an all time favorite! I have been going here since 1995! The owners are great and the staff are fabulous! The food is EXCELLENT. Polar King is known for their breakfast and let me tell you, you better plan a nap for afterwards! Their servings are VERY generous and not too pricey! This diner is where I hope to take my kids to after church every Sunday until they’re old enough to go alone! I absolutely love this place!

I went there for dinner with my dad and was blown away. The waitstaff treats you like family and the food was perfect! It’s rare to find places that serve dishes like that, or to find a place that’s so good that I don’t need a take home box. The dishes are nostalgic and you feel like you’re back at grandma’s dinner table. Delicious comfort food.

We go here A LOT! There food is consistently good to great, the service is great and they have my little girls hot coco ready as soon as we sit down, try it, there breakfast is the best! If you’re hungry try the polar cloud

Friendliest ice cream in Gresham. I came to Polar King out of a simple google search for ice cream in Gresham, and aside from the chains and fast food outlets, it was at the top of the list. With a name like Polar King, I thought it would be just one of those old 50s/60s-era, local, ice cream shacks, but it’s really a small vintage coffee shop that serves breakfast and lunch mostly. My server was certainly friendly, pointing out the special, along with the $2 bread pudding on special, and the strawberry shortcake she was just about to serve. I opted for the shortcake, which is piled high with vanilla soft serve and whipped cream. It was refreshing and best empty calories I would have that day. The server told me stories about her grandson and showed me a photo of him on her cell phone, adding to the friendly atmosphere of the place. Each of the patrons seemed to be familiar to the staff, and the staff was attentive.
