Actually good chicken. They cooked the chicken to order; no large bin of 1/2 hour old chicken in the window. That made all the difference in the world. Spicy chicken is actually a little spicy so points for that. Prices are a little high but maybe that is just me getting old. I ordered a family style meal with 11 pieces and 2 sides + 5 biscuits for $23.00. Their mash+gravy is excellent (brown gravy with sausage) but the mac and cheese is a bit plain. Why so much detail in a fried chicken review? I moved here from Texas and I love Portland but for the year I have been here I have found nothing but failure concerning southern style foods. This is pretty good for fast food and better than any restaurants attempts at southern feel good staples. They just need fried okra…
