The most amazing food I’ve ever had. It was like artwork for my tastebuds. Service was great as well. Nice, relaxing atmosphere. I will go back for sure on our next trip to Portland.
Food was good, servers were nice. Food wasn’t AMAZING but they were efficient in making it. Great atmosphere. Seating was available immediately. I really enjoyed the vibe of the cafe. They played really good music too. imriche.com
Just can’t wait to visit Helser’s on Alberta every visit I make to Portland! Always try something new but must have at least once the Pear & Havarti Pie! Tasty and a treat for the eyes! Loved the new larger tables and bench all the way across far side of the restaurant. Seems my favorite when I am in town!

Overrated! Good food, although a bit overpriced and not very well arranged (ie rotten grape swimming in my egg. Seriously?). The service/staff is disappointing and flat out rude at times. Go elsewhere, especially if you don’t want to wait long, with an empty coffee pot at the door just tempting you!
