Throughly enjoyed our visit here. The staff members are extremely accommodating and professional. Our meal was pretty tasty even though it felt like diner food. Will be back again.
My search for bakeries took me to Petite Provence on Alberta St! I actually stumbled across it the night before when I was eating Salt & Straw ice cream. I walked in to have a preview of their goodies and was very excited to go back to try it the next day. I ordered the Rosemary Apricot Owl and a cup of their mocha. It was as good as it looked! My dining partner had the almond croissant and an americano. We came in around 11:30am on a Tuesday and waited for about 15 min to get bar seats. Service was quick (given that we didn’t order hot food!) and the server was pleasant. We made friends with the locals sitting next to us who were quick to provide tips on some places to see. On the way out, I got 3 macarons (my fav!) to go as well as their coconut chocolate chip cookie. The cookie was to die for. Anyone who loves coconut like me would love their cookies! I will definitely come back to this cute cafe/bakery next time I’m in town.
The Alberta outlet of Petit Provence serves excellent food. While the menu may be the same at other outlets this was my favorite. We had to wait about 20 minutes to get seated but then the service and food was excellent. My latte was creamy and went perfectly with my warm chocolate croissant . The corn beef hash with horseradish was also really good.
