Great sushi! Had a fun and delicious experience. Highly recommend.
Loved it! Very high quality sushi and great service! Being a pregnant sushi lover, I was so happy to find that they have plenty of delicious cooked and pregnancy friendly options! Eat here!
Currently my favorite sushi in Portland!. Other users seem to comment on high prices (good fish costs money people) and strange service (that’s just Portland area waitstaff culture). This place is great! Yeah, you won’t get your ass kissed and yeah it costs a bit but quality sushi costs money and doesn’t come in large portions! and whoever bases their restaurant experience on how many fake smiles the waitress gives you is pretty sad in my book. Also, complaining that the food doesn’t all come out at the same time?! Have you ever eaten at a real Japanese place before? Ugh, man-o-man. SO: The food is amazing. Authentically done sushi, great fish, very fresh. If you like Sake this is the place and the atmosphere is great as well. I can’t think of any other place that is doing such a good job in terms of sushi right now within the Portland metro area. I’m going back again tonight.
Worse misstake ever!. Over priced and not even good! Dot waste your moneyt, also sushi was way too small for what your pay.I wont ever go back or recommend this place.
Good sushi. I get the feeling that they have a pretty good line on some well-sourced fish here. It may be added to the short list of places to go when you want to spend a little extra $ for some quality fish. People who grumble about pricing are clearly out of touch with current fish market prices. The service was fine for us when we went and the atmosphere was right for the neighborhood.
Sushi okay. Sushi was okay, but very expensive. The sake was great. We might go back, but we might not. On the plus side the service has improved.
Not worth it!. After spending $62.00 on really good sake and not so good sushi we walked out hungry. The Atmosphere is ideal and well appointed. The service was fair. Our waitress was the cutest and somewhat attentive and the waiter (they both waited on us) a little on the brash side. It took 45 minutes to get our sushi and the nigiri rolls were $5.00 for two pieces and the sushi rolls were small and $11.00. The sushi was fair tasting and when we asked how it was coming the waiter told us he wouldn’t have ordered it if we had a time line. The thing is if your gonna charge up the yin yang for sushi, it better be dam good and not take 45 minutes to come out. I am all for paying a hefty amount if the food is delightful and melts in my mouth like some sushi does, but when the sushi is fair, the service is fair, the wait for the food is ridiculous it makes for a not so good restaurant. So needles to say I will not return and it is too bad because it is my neighborhood and I love to support my neighborhood. There is just too many other fantastic sushi restaurants out there to settle.
