This is a great place. The setting is beautiful. It’s right next to Gales Creek – very woodsy. My husband loves the pizza. Says it’s the best he has ever had. It reminds me of the Italian pizza I got in Europe. Nothing made here is run of the mill. There are herbs in the pizza crust. The gyro was outstanding. Tasted nothing like what you’d get in your average restaurant. You can also tell that he uses only fresh ingredients – very fresh. You can taste the freshness. Oh and the lemon cheesecake with a ginger graham crust (I think it was Graham) was absolutely incredible tasting. Some of my favorites that we take home from the market are the baklava (best I’ve ever had- not soaked in honey), coconut macaroons, and focaccia of various types (most recent was garlic and artichoke)We went to one of their monthy wine pairings. We sat outside on a perfectly lovely afternoon and were served 5 courses each with its own wind pairing. And there was music. I like Oregon wines but really enjoyed being exposed to other wines as well. So great food, original dishes and a beautiful place. Love it!

Amazing!. I almost don’t want to write a review because I love how it seems like it’s a hidden location that not a lot of people know about but I feel like I need to write a review because of how amazing it is. My dad lives out in banks, so were pretty close to the location of the restaurant. It’s small but wonderful! I love how it’s an open area so you can see Chef Gabriel cooking and when it’s not busy he makes it a point to come over and see how your meal is and just comes to enjoy a nice conversation. You can also tell that the food is all as fresh as you could get it. I was on a diet on of the times I went and I told him what I was allowed to have, which was way less than what I couldn’t have and he made a special dinner to order that was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone whether it’s a short or long drive, you won’t regret it. Prices are pretty reasonable for the experience and quality of the food you get as well!

Worth seeking out!. I stumbled onto Out AZA Blue on Highway 6 east of Timber three years ago.Chef Gabriel could have chosen any hidden spot in the woods for his restaurant and foodies would find him–and they do, and they flock to this little restaurant that looks like a convenience store from the outside. The top sirloin is to die for, and if you leave the wine pairing to the Chef, you will be delighted with both excellent pairing and excellent price. Save room for the baklava. He can host events in a separate room and large outdoor dining deck and caters as well. He also offers pizzas and burgers to hungry folks just passing through on their way between Tillamook and Portland. He occasionally offers special events like wine pairings or even cooking lessons. Get on his email list to stay posted about those things.
