Always a Winner. We have been eating at Blackfish off and of for years now, decided it was time to do something. We were in the door a half an hour early, party of two with reservations, and they seated us promptly without really being asked if it was possible. Crab cocktails excellent, sad when prices force them off menu however they are back. Tonight 11/15/2014 was typical of consistency and new tastes. Asian peanut & chipotle soup marvelous riff on satay sauce, savory and not too hot. Duck with risotto marvelous as always. Cannot beat the in-house chocolate Ding Dong for dessert. Both thumbs up!
Extremely pretentious!!. We arrived with a large party for an Anniversary party. The staff was snotty, and pretentious. Food was average, and over priced.

Extremely Well Prepared Meal. The food served was fresh and tasty with a ample wine list and full bar. The menu includes the usual beach food; but also includes the fresh specials on the dinner menu. The seafood is not over cooked and includes the right favored accompliments that enhanced the entree flavors. Kudos to the chef! If busy it can be noisy. I would return.
Poor service. Took a long time for a server to approach us. The host seemed upset that we mentioned how long we’ve waited and told us the server was in the back somewhere… Food was decent but overpriced for such a shabby place. Our dessert (custard) looked like it was sitting in the refrigerator for a couple days, even the server looked doubtful of its flavor. All in all I wouldn’t come back.
